Add Attendee(s) to Event

Add email addresses while preserving existing attendees and their response details.

Inputs

InputTypeHow to use it
AccountAccountChoose a saved Google Calendar connector from this organization. Create or reconnect it in Settings > Connectors. Do not enter an API key, password or email address here.
Calendargoogle calendar calendarSelect the calendar or supply its calendar ID. For text inputs, primary means the connected account's main calendar.
Eventgoogle calendar eventSelect the event or supply its Google event ID. A title or calendar link is not the event ID.
AttendeesList of textA list of email address text values, such as ["alex@example.test","sam@example.test"]. Do not use one comma-separated text value.
Notify AttendeesbooleanChoose true to ask Google to notify all attendees, or false to suppress update emails. Google may still apply its own notification rules.

Result

Normally no value is returned after an update. If all supplied addresses already exist, no update is sent and the existing Google event object is returned. Do not rely on a consistent returned object.

Example

Account: choose your Google Calendar connector. Calendar: primary; Event: event-id; Attendees: ["alex@example.test","sam@example.test"]; Notify Attendees: true.

Errors and limits

Supply a nonempty list of valid emails. Incoming addresses are trimmed, lowercased and deduplicated. The account must be allowed to edit attendees. Reconnect the matching app in Settings if the connection is unavailable. Check the resource IDs and required read or edit permissions. Wait after provider rate limiting. Use live data is required; isolated tests and live debugging cannot contact these services. Provider requests time out after 30 seconds. Google responses are limited to 16 MiB.

Create Calendar

Create a secondary calendar using UTC.

Inputs

InputTypeHow to use it
AccountAccountChoose a saved Google Calendar connector from this organization. Create or reconnect it in Settings > Connectors. Do not enter an API key, password or email address here.
NametextThe new calendar's display name.
DescriptiontextOptional plain-text description of the calendar.

Result

An object with calendarId, name, description when present, and timeZone set to UTC.

Example

Account: choose your Google Calendar connector. Name: Customer onboarding; Description: Meetings for new customers.

Errors and limits

Check calendar-create permissions and look for an already-created calendar before retrying an uncertain result.

Create Event

Create a timed or all-day event, optionally repeating.

SummarytextThe event title. Empty uses Untitled Event.
DescriptiontextOptional event description. Google applies its own formatting rules.
LocationtextOptional location text, such as Office meeting room.
Start Date and TimedateFor timed events, use an ISO date/time with an explicit offset, such as 2026-11-02T09:00:00Z, to avoid ambiguity. For all-day events, use a date such as 2026-11-02.
End Date and TimedateThe end must be after the start. All-day end dates are exclusive: a November 2 event uses start 2026-11-02 and end 2026-11-03.
Repeat Frequencyrepeat frequencyChoose NONE for one event, or a supported frequency such as DAILY, WEEKLY or MONTHLY. Repeats follow Google recurrence rules.
Repeat UntildateOptional final repeat cutoff date/time. Used only with a repeat frequency and when Repeat Amount is empty.
Repeat AmountnumberOptional positive whole-number count of occurrences. With a repeat frequency, this takes precedence over Repeat Until.
All DaybooleanTrue makes a date-only event; false makes a timed event. All-day end dates must be the day after the final day.
AttendeesList of textA list of email address text values, such as ["alex@example.test","sam@example.test"]. Do not use one comma-separated text value.
Visibilitygoogle calendar visibilityThe Google Calendar visibility, such as DEFAULT, PUBLIC or PRIVATE. If empty, Google uses its default.
Guests Can Modify EventbooleanTrue lets guests modify the event; false keeps that permission disabled.

Result

An object with eventId, title, description when present, start, end and attendees. Start and end are date/time text or date-only text for all-day events. attendees is a list of email addresses, or [] when none are returned.

Example

Account: choose your Google Calendar connector. Calendar: primary; Summary: Welcome call; Start Date and Time: 2026-11-02T09:00:00Z; End Date and Time: 2026-11-02T09:30:00Z; Repeat Frequency: NONE; All Day: false; Attendees: ["alex@example.test"].

Errors and limits

Check date order, time-zone offsets and recurrence. Creation suppresses attendee update emails. Inspect the calendar after an uncertain result before retrying, which can create duplicates.

Delete Event

Delete an event and optionally notify attendees.

Notify AttendeesbooleanChoose true to ask Google to notify all attendees, or false to suppress update emails. Google may still apply its own notification rules.

Result

No value is returned on success. The selected event is deleted.

Example

Account: choose your Google Calendar connector. Calendar: test-calendar-id; Event: test-event-id; Notify Attendees: false.

Errors and limits

Confirm the event and notification choice. A missing-event response on retry can mean deletion succeeded.

Move Event to Another Calendar

Move an event from its calendar into another calendar.

Inputs

InputTypeHow to use it
AccountAccountChoose a saved Google Calendar connector from this organization. Create or reconnect it in Settings > Connectors. Do not enter an API key, password or email address here.
Source Calendargoogle calendar calendarThe calendar containing the event. Select it or supply its calendar ID.
Eventgoogle calendar eventSelect the event or supply its Google event ID. A title or calendar link is not the event ID.
Target Calendargoogle calendar calendarThe destination calendar. The account must be allowed to move the event there.
Notify AttendeesbooleanChoose true to ask Google to notify all attendees, or false to suppress update emails. Google may still apply its own notification rules.

Result

No value is returned on success. No moved-event details are returned.

Example

Account: choose your Google Calendar connector. Source Calendar: source-calendar-id; Event: event-id; Target Calendar: destination-calendar-id; Notify Attendees: false.

Errors and limits

Google restricts movable event types and organizers. Check both calendars' permissions and inspect the destination after an uncertain result.

Errors and limits

Reconnect the matching app in Settings if the connection is unavailable. Check the resource IDs and required read or edit permissions. Wait after provider rate limiting. Use live data is required; isolated tests and live debugging cannot contact these services. Provider requests time out after 30 seconds. Google responses are limited to 16 MiB.

List calendar events

List one page of event occurrences ordered by start time.

Inputs

InputTypeHow to use it
AccountAccountChoose a saved Google Calendar connector from this organization. Create or reconnect it in Settings > Connectors. Do not enter an API key, password or email address here.
CalendartextSelect the calendar or supply its calendar ID. For text inputs, primary means the connected account's main calendar.
Time MintextOptional ISO date/time with an offset, such as 2026-11-01T00:00:00Z. Google uses this as an exclusive lower bound on event end time, so events overlapping the beginning can be included.
Time MaxtextOptional ISO date/time with an offset, such as 2026-12-01T00:00:00Z. This is an exclusive upper bound on event start time and must be later than Time Min.
CursortextLeave empty for the first page. For later pages, pass the previous result's nextPageToken unchanged and keep the same filters. Do not use a page number.
LimitnumberWhole number from 1 to 100 for this page. Defaults to 25. The provider may return fewer items; check its next-page token.

Result

Google's event-page object with items and nextPageToken when another page exists. items may be absent or empty. Recurring events are expanded into individual occurrences.

Example

Account: choose your Google Calendar connector. Calendar: primary; Time Min: 2026-11-01T00:00:00Z; Time Max: 2026-12-01T00:00:00Z; Limit: 25.

Errors and limits

Use complete date/time values with offsets. Keep the calendar and date filters unchanged when using nextPageToken.

Test safely

Isolated tests and live debugging do not call connected providers. Enable Use live data only when you intend to contact the account. Writes, messages and AI requests can change real data or incur provider charges. A successful connection check does not prove access to every action. These examples explain the command contract; they are not evidence of a completed live provider request.
