List team folders

Read top-level folders accessible to the token in a Figma team.

Inputs

InputTypeHow to use it
AccountAccountRequired. Choose a saved Figma connection from this workspace’s account selector. Create or reconnect it in Settings > Connectors first. Do not paste a password, API key or token into this field.
TeamtextRequired. Team ID from the URL segment after /team/. The personal token needs folders:read and team access. Twidget text limit: 8,192 characters; provider-specific limits may be lower.

Result

Returns Figma’s folder-list response with visible folder records and IDs. Child folders are not traversed; no paging input is exposed.

Example

Choose your Figma Account and add List team folders. Set Team = "123456789012345678". These are illustrative values: replace example IDs and addresses with your own permitted test values. Inspect the returned result before continuing.

Errors and limits

Check folders:read for folder lists and file-content access for Get file. Seat/plan rate limits apply; reduce Depth for a large result. Reconnect an unavailable connection in Settings > Connectors. Isolated tests and live debugging do not contact external services; Use live data is needed for an intended live call. If rate-limited, wait before retrying. Total input is limited to 64 KiB and results to 2 MiB; use smaller pages, narrower filters or less depth when too large. Calls wait up to 30 seconds, or less if the workflow reaches its own time limit. A timeout does not prove that a create/send failed, so check the provider before repeating it.

List folder files

Read files directly inside a Figma folder.

Inputs

InputTypeHow to use it
AccountAccountRequired. Choose a saved Figma connection from this workspace’s account selector. Create or reconnect it in Settings > Connectors first. Do not paste a password, API key or token into this field.
FoldertextRequired. Folder ID from List team folders. Only direct files in that folder are returned. Twidget text limit: 8,192 characters; provider-specific limits may be lower.

Result

Returns Figma’s file-list response with visible file entries and keys. Nested folders are not traversed, and branch metadata is not requested.

Example

Choose your Figma Account and add List folder files. Set Folder = "123456789012345679". These are illustrative values: replace example IDs and addresses with your own permitted test values. Inspect the returned result before continuing.

Get file

Read a limited-depth portion of a Figma file’s document tree.

Inputs

InputTypeHow to use it
AccountAccountRequired. Choose a saved Figma connection from this workspace’s account selector. Create or reconnect it in Settings > Connectors first. Do not paste a password, API key or token into this field.
FiletextRequired. File key from the URL after /design/ or /file/. The token needs file-content access to this file. Twidget text limit: 8,192 characters; provider-specific limits may be lower.
DepthnumberOptional. Document-tree levels to return. Omit for 2; use a whole number from 1 to 10. Reduce this for large files.

Result

Returns the file response with document, name, version and available update information. Depth limits the tree; image bytes are not downloaded.

Example

Choose your Figma Account and add Get file. Set File = "DemoFigmaFileKey"; Depth = 2. These are illustrative values: replace example IDs and addresses with your own permitted test values. Inspect the returned result before continuing.

Test safely

Isolated tests and live debugging do not call connected providers. Enable Use live data only when you intend to contact the account. Writes, messages and AI requests can change real data or incur provider charges. A successful connection check does not prove access to every action. These examples explain the command contract; they are not evidence of a completed live provider request.
