Create a label in the connected Gmail account.
Inputs
| Input | Type | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Account | Account | Choose a saved Gmail connector from this organization. Create or reconnect it in Settings > Connectors. Do not enter an API key, password or email address here. |
| Label Name | text | The new Gmail label name, such as Customer enquiries. It must be allowed by Gmail and not conflict with an existing label. |
Result
An object with id and name for the new label.
Example
Account: choose your Gmail connector. Label Name: Customer enquiries.
Errors and limits
Check for an existing label before retrying an uncertain result. Reconnect the matching app in Settings if the connection is unavailable. Check the resource IDs and required read or edit permissions. Wait after provider rate limiting. Use live data is required; isolated tests and live debugging cannot contact these services. Provider requests time out after 30 seconds. Google responses are limited to 16 MiB.
Send an email from the connected Gmail account.
Inputs
| Input | Type | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Account | Account | Choose a saved Gmail connector from this organization. Create or reconnect it in Settings > Connectors. Do not enter an API key, password or email address here. |
| To | text | Recipient email addresses on one line, comma-separated if needed. At least one of To, Cc or Bcc must be supplied. |
| Cc | text | Optional copy recipients on one line, separated by commas. Leave empty when not needed. |
| Bcc | text | Optional hidden-copy recipients on one line, separated by commas. Leave empty when not needed. |
| Subject | text | The subject on one line. Line breaks are rejected; international text is supported. |
| Body Type | gmail body type | Choose HTML for HTML content; other values send plain text. Prefer the provided TEXT or HTML choice. |
| Body | text box | Email body text, or HTML source when HTML is chosen. The complete assembled message must fit within 64 KiB. This command does not attach files. |
Result
An object with messageId, threadId and labels when supplied by Gmail. Success means Gmail accepted the message, not that it reached the recipient's inbox.
Example
Account: choose your Gmail connector. To: alex@example.test; Cc and Bcc: empty; Subject: Welcome; Body Type: TEXT; Body: Thanks for joining us.
Errors and limits
Each recipient or subject header is limited to 8,192 characters and cannot contain line breaks. Check Gmail Sent before retrying an uncertain result to avoid duplicate emails.
Find one page of email IDs using Gmail search.
Inputs
| Input | Type | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Account | Account | Choose a saved Gmail connector from this organization. Create or reconnect it in Settings > Connectors. Do not enter an API key, password or email address here. |
| Query | text | Optional Gmail search text, such as in:inbox is:unread, from:customer@example.test or newer_than:7d. Empty adds no search filter. |
| Cursor | text | Leave empty for the first page. For later pages, pass the previous result's nextPageToken unchanged and keep the same filters. Do not use a page number. |
| Limit | number | Whole number from 1 to 100 for this page. Defaults to 25. The provider may return fewer items; check its next-page token. |
Result
Google's page object with messages containing id and threadId, nextPageToken when more results exist, and resultSizeEstimate. messages may be absent or empty. The estimate is not an exact total, and message bodies are not returned.
Example
Account: choose your Gmail connector. Query: in:inbox is:unread; Limit: 25. Pass nextPageToken as Cursor to continue.
Errors and limits
Check Gmail search syntax and read permissions. This returns message IDs rather than full content.
Isolated tests and live debugging do not call connected providers. Enable Use live data only when you intend to contact the account. Writes, messages and AI requests can change real data or incur provider charges. A successful connection check does not prove access to every action. These examples explain the command contract; they are not evidence of a completed live provider request.
